Time to update my bio, I suppose, the old one's getting a bit outdated. So, here are some more or less interesting facts about me, in case you' like to get some idea of the person behind the slightly ridiculous username:

I'm in my late thirties, German, happily married with two children, a psychologist who used to dabble in science and now teaches social care workers in training. I love my family and my job. I have opinions on all sorts of things - especially when it comes to my own fields of expertise, be it professional or otherwise - and sometimes I don't know when to shut up about them, for which I apologize in advance. (OTOH, being able to talk endlessly about things that interest me is very useful for my job, so I'm not going to get rid of it entirely.)

What got me into active participation in online fandom are the classic Sherlock Holmes stories. They hold a special place in my heart, I still write fanfic about them and there's a lovely online community. Other than that, I've written some fanfic in the Hobbit fandom and that's another thing I have quite a few opinions about. :)
